In 2019, Sam and I met in high school when I was a junior and he was a senior. We shared one class together and were both dating other people at the time, but that didn't stop our constant flirting!

We were then introduced again in June of 2020 by my Grandma Pat. Grandma Pat and Sam camped across from each other, and sweet guy he is, Sam mowed her lawn for her each week. She tried to introduce us many times and was finally successful! We were kind of a package deal after that...(he just couldn't get enough of me). ;)

At the time we didn't know it, but Sam and I had five years of lake days, late nights, nursing school exams, long work days, day hikes, (and only one or two arguments) ahead of us.

And just before our five-year anniversary, Sam asked me to marry him on a gorgeous mountain hike in Colorado, which was the easiest decision I've ever had to make. We made it babe...here's to forever. :)
